Meetings and Nets

Radio Nets

The club holds a weekly net each Monday evening at 7:30pm on the K4GSO repeater. The repeater's output frequency is 146.610 MHz, the input is 146.010 MHz. The purpose of the net is to discuss club business or any amateur radio related topic, and a "Traders' Portion" is included for buying and selling amateur related equipment. Non-member check-ins are welcome and encouraged.

Meetings

Regularly scheduled club meetings are held at 7:30pm on the third Tuesday of each month. Meetings are held at Green Clover Hall, located in the Marion County Government Complex (McPherson Complex). Board of Directors meetings are held at 7:30pm on the first Tursday of each month, at Green Clover Hall.

Green Clover Hall is located in the northeast area of the Marion County Government Complex (McPherson Complex). Once inside the area, the building is pretty easy to spot; it's green.

Need directions?

From the North (Reddick, McIntosh, Gainesville) - Take US 441 south to NE 10th Street (first major intersection after the first bridge over a railroad). Turn left on NE 10th, and go east until you reach 25th Avenue. Turn Right (South) on 25th Avenue. McPherson Complex will be on your left after the intersection of 25th Avenue and Fort King Street.

From the South (Belleview, Lake County) - Take US 441 to 17th Street (second red light after crossing under a railroad bridge). Turn right on 17th Street, go east to 25th Avenue. Turn left on 25th Avenue, McPherson Complex will be on your right as you come up the hill.

From the Southwest (SR-200 corridor, Dunnellon) - Take SR-200 to 17th Street, (GMC dealer on one corner, Walgreen's on another). Turn right on 17th Street, go east to 25th Avenue. Turn left on 25th Avenue, McPherson Complex will be on your right as you come up the hill.

From the East (Silver Springs, "The Forest") - Take SR-40 West to 25th Avenue. Turn left on 25th Avenue, McPherson Complex will be on your left after the intersection of 25th Avenue and Fort King Street.

From the Southeast (Silver Springs Shores, Lake Weir) - Take CR-464 (Maricamp Road) to 25th Avenue. Turn right on 25th Avenue. McPherson Complex will be on your right as you come up the hill.

From the West (SR-40W) - Take SR-40 all the way to SE 25th Avenue. Turn Right (South) on 25th Avenue. McPherson Complex will be on your left after the intersection of 25th Avenue and Fort King Street.

From the Northwest (US-27) - Take US-27 all the way in. At the intersection of US-301/441 (Pine Avenue) go straight through. You will be on NE 10th Street. Go east until you reach 25th Avenue. Turn Right (South) on 25th Avenue. McPherson Complex will be on your left after the intersection of 25th Avenue and Fort King Street.
