Members of the local section of the
VERON , the Dutch Amateur Radio society, are active during the

International Lighthouse weekend

on 20-21 August 2005 from the lighthouse in Noordwijk (NET-019) We use the club call PI4LDN (Leiden) which stands for
Lighthouse DX-spedition Noordwijk.

The Lighthouse is still operational and we are grateful to the authorities who granted us permission to participate in the event. The lighthouse was built in 1922 and is 25.5m high. The lamp turns on and off in a 20 second short-short-long sequence.

More information will be published here as it becomes available.
