Goodbye England's Rose may you ever grow in our hearts.
You were the grace that placed itself where lives were torn apart.

You called out to our country, and you whispered to those in pain
Now you belong to heaven, and the stars spell out your name.

And it seems to me you lived your life like a candle in the wind
never fading with the sunset when the rain set in.

And your footsteps will always fall here, along England's greenest hills
your candle's burned out long before your legend ever will.

Loveliness we've lost these empty days without your smile.
This torch we'll always carry for our nation's golden child.

And even though we try, the truth brings us to tears
all our words cannot express the joy you brought us through the years.

And it seems to me you lived your life like a candle in the wind
never fading with the sunset when the rain set in.

And your footsteps will always fall here, along England's greenest hills
your candle's burned out long before your legend ever will.

Goodbye England's rose, may you ever grow in our harts.
You were the grace that placed itself where lives were torn apart.

Goodbye England's rose, from a country lost without your soul,
who'll miss the wings of your compassion more than you will ever know.

And it seems to me you lived your life like a candle in the wind
never fading with the sunset when the rain set in.

And your footsteps will always fall here, along England's greenest hills
your candle's burned out long before your legend ever will.

Scoll biografy

Diana Frances Spencer... Born July 1, 1961 to Viscount and Viscountess Althorp of Sardingham, England... She was Althorps' fourth child, following 2 healthy sisters and a boy who died within hours from severe birth defects... She also had a baby brother, Charles (Today 9th Earl Spencer).

Althorps had been married in 1954, in a ceremony blessed by the Queen... But they divorced in 1969, when Diana was six... She really tasted the bad effects of this incident in her childhood...

Diana was known among her friend for her vivid personality, but also for her shyness in public situations... She was always reserved and quite.. and a very helpful person, who cared for her friends if they became sick... or had any problems...

Her hobby was dancing throughout her childhood and teenage years... She used to say that she wants to become "either a dancer, or Princess of Wales"... (Of course, she grew too tall to become a ballerina...)

Diana was also knows as generally intelligent... But not in school!... She hated academics, and didn't have good grades... She failed her high school exams and sent to a finishing school in Switzerland... She lasted six weeks, perfected her French, and learned skiing... But, she became homesick in 7 weeks, and returned home, without finishing the school...

She immediately returned to England. After spending some time in her parent's estate, she moved to London, to a flat in Coleherne Court set up for her by her father...

After relocating to the city, she started working as a teacher in a kindergarten, cleaned homes... and got a part time job of babysitting the one year-old son of an American couple then living in London...

Meanwhile, she started dating with Charles, Prince of Wales... Meeting with him for the first time in her adult life when she was seventeen, but she started her relationship with Charles, who was her 12 years elder, when she was nineteen...

On February 24, 1981, they announced their engagement, and she instantly became a major target for a breed of freelance press photographers, known as "Paparazzi", who would contribute to her untimely, and devastating death 16 years later...

...It was the wedding of the century, as some people refer to it... Diana married to Charles on July 29, 1981... at St. Paul's Cathedral in London... The wedding was watched live by 750 million people around the world... a number that would be topped by a later ceremony: Diana's funeral...

While everybody was had in their mind this stunning 20 year-old fairytale Princess, and her also fairytale wedding... things are not going right like they supposed to be inside the marriage... Although Diana was deeply in love with Charles, he was loving somebody else: Camilla Parker Bowles, his girlfriend since his early twenties... So, in a manner, as some put it... Charles just interrupted his affair to marry with Diana...

On June 21, 1982 couple's first child was born... Prince William, also known as Wills... After this Diana, with the stress she went into in this loveless marriage, started to show the signs of depression... She became Bulimic (an eating disorder), and attempted suicide several times... As she later said... Nobody in the royal family was helping her out, her husband was even more deep into his relationship with Camilla... around this time, on September 15, 1984, couple's second child was born: Prince Harry.

Their marriage started to deteriorate... and so is the ties between Diana and her in-laws... Her children were the sole ties that kept her alive and bond her to life...

As normally being a more vital character, she hated the life inside the palaces... she constantly wanted to get out, and talk with other people...

Their marriage was near ending, and it was very significant... Especially in their visit to Korea in 1992...

Meanwhile, Diana found kind of found her way out of the life of the royal family... Thanks to her constant want to help needy, sick, and less fortunate... She was dedicated to charities, sick children, cancer and AIDS patiences...

She became one of the most prominent figure of all times, not just because she was a Princess, or had lots of external beauty... Most because of her goodness of heart...

1992 was a year that England's queen declared as horrible... Her vacationing castle burned down... and maybe the "worst" news was the announcement of Diana and Charles' seperation, came after years of suffering for Diana......

Meanwhile, people were nothing that this beautiful Princess was constantly harrassed by Photographers who hunt down celebrities, and such... Wherever she went, there was at least 20 Photographers coming... This started to become so uncontrolable, that she didn't even get a few minutes off from them... She had nothing like "personal life" left...

It especially became out-of-hand, when they started to set their cameras in the gyms she went, and stalked her, and constantly pursued her... even when she was driving... Eventually, they even bumped her car with their motorcycles...

She announced that she needs a little time off... and left most of her lighter charities to become more involved in more important ones... But she still kept on paying secret night visits to children hospitals, and such...

The divorce finally came off in the August of 1996... From the marriage, she got a 5-bedroom apartment in Kensington Pallace, and agreed on a sum of $27.000.000... and also, maybe the issue she mostly disscussed on: The custody of her beloved sons... She got to see them as much as Charles could do...

After all, she tought that, after a divorce, they might take them away and she might not get to see them again...

Meanwhile, she constantly worked for AIDS and cancer charities, paralised and sick children, drug addicts, and maybe her favorite charity around the time before her death : Landmine victims, and banning the production of landmines...

She visited Angola in January of 1997. She wrote, produced, and narrated an anti-landmine TV program, together with Red Cross... She visited US for the last time in June of the same year, and met once again for the last time with Mother Teresa, who died less then a week after Diana... Diana used to tell that she was the main inspiration for her work for good causes... She went to Gianni Versace's funeral in July... and in that time nobody would think that her death would come a bit more than a month after that...

The summer of 1997 was maybe one of the best summers she have ever had for some long time... She went vacationing with the Fayeds... People eventually learned that she had a new boyfriend : Dodi Al-Fayed... Who she spent her last vacation (along with her sons) with.

Some friends of her say that these were the happiest days of her life for last 16 years...

At some point, she cut her vacation in half and went to Bosnia for her anti landmine campaign... She visited the people maimed by landmines, and the graves of the people whose deaths were caused by them...

Her sons went back to England, to spent the last week before the school with the rest of the royal family... That was the last time she ever get to see them...

In their her last week, she went along with Dodi to a jewelry store in southern France, and picked up a ring... They left it for some alteration of size... Then they returned to Paris... The ring arrived in her last day alive...

Before she left for England to see her sons, they wanted to end the vacation with a dinner in Paris... So they booked a table in a Parisian restaurant. But, since the paparazzis were constantly on trail, and especially more energetic, and ferocious, because of the latest news that some tabloids offered as much as $2.000.000 for some fuzzy pictures of She and Dodi talking, kissing, and walking...They had to stop at a nearer place...: Ritz hotel & restaurant, owned by Dodi's father...

Once they pulled in front of the hotel, there was at least 30 photographers on the trail, and waiting... They hardly got out of the car, and went in to the restaurant... But after some time passed they felt that they started to attract all the attention of other diners, so they got a suit in the hotel set up for dinner...

By midnight, somebody had the idea of sending out a decoy car to attract the paparazzi with Dodi's regular chauffeur in it... So they determined that Henri Paul, the security chief of the hotel would drive the couple, along with Dodi's bodyguard...

By 12:20 am, Paris time, Diana and her companion left the hotel from the rear gate... Went into the damned Mercedes, and drove away... It was the last minutes of Diana's life...

Five minutes after, the worst occurred... That Mercedes crashed in DeAlma tunnel... Dodi and the driver were killed instantly... Bodyguard was saved, but Diana, suffering from severe internal bleeding, died 4 hours later in a nearby hospital...

And you know the rest is history...

Lots of love, peace, and happiness... Please rest in peace...
