If you are interested in stamps from Aruba, you can contact the main post office of Aruba as follows:

   
The Status Apartus series.  It's the first set issued by Aruba, on January 1, 1986.

POSTAL RATES: 

The current rate for an airmail letter (10 grams) is as follows:

•     The Netherlands    Afl.2,25

•     U.S.A.                  Afl.2,05

•     rest of the world    Afl.1,85

Note: irc's are accepted at Afl.1,75. (US$1.00)

CURRENCY

Each Aruban Florin (AFl.) has 100 cents.  Banknotes come in the following denominations: AFl.500, 100, 50, 25, and 10.  Coins are available in: 5c, 10c, 25c,50c (small square), 100c, 500c (large square).  

The Aruban Florin is pegged to the US Dollar.  (1US$ = AFL.1,75)

     On Aruba, phonecards have come in different types.  The first cards were magnetical, followed by optical, and lately the technology of choice is the chip-card.
