In the beginning the propagation was quite poor but improved  the whole time during the contest. On Sunday afternoon when OH1MM came to "save" very tired OH1MDR and OH1NOA, 10m finally opened to USA. During the both nights the MUF was very low and even 40m was in bad shape.   40m USA runs were mainly made after the local sunrise (the MUF raised a bit also...) On Saturday evening it was impressive to listen to ZL2AMI on 40m, his signal   was 599 +30dB, WOW!

During the contest we encountered a strange keying problem several times. When    S & P:ing sometimes the stations simply were not able to decode our    transmission. They (e.g. KH7X, EI4DW) did not copy our callsign "OH1F"   correct (it was always OH7.. OH8.. etc.). In the monitor the transmission sounded OK. I think some other stations had also this same problem, we were not able   to decode their signals though it sounded OK.

Generally this was a very nice contest and it was enjoyable to operate RTTY once again after several years. This was the first time we used Writelog and MMTTY in a RTTY contest - no problems with network or anything else.
