FAQ

What in the world is a "FAQ"?

A "FAQ" is a Frequently Asked Questions source.

1) What are you doing and why?

a) My fiancée has adopted a baby girl from China. We plan to adopt another, so this is my way to make a few bucks to help finance the next adoption. Follow this...

2) What items do you offer?

a) I have novelty baby panties, custom made and embroidered baby blankets, hand lettered decor plates, as well as other items that are not necessarily related to adoptions.

3) Why blankets?

a) After Janet received the referral, and found out the baby's name, she came to me and asked if I could put the baby's name on a blanket. The blanket was her choice of items to send, she had hoped that the baby would use the blanket, and when she came home with her, the baby would feel secure with her blanket. Follow this..

4) Why sweaters?

a) Janet knits, and she designed a pattern that uses the Ladybug. The lady bug is a symbol of good luck to the Chinese. Janet also sells the pattern. Follow this..

5) What else do you sell?

a) I also make covers to protect Amateur Radio equipment. I embroider the Amateur call sign on the front.  More info to be placed here later.

6) any thing else?

a) well, we plan to make flags, but have not designed one yet. We are always open to suggestions. Follow this...

7) I got to ask... what is with the baby pants?

a) I was turning everything over one day, and kept seeing the same three words... "made in China". I thought it would be funny to make a pair of baby pants that said "Made In China" across the back side. Janet, Mary and I attended a Christmas Party and the pants were the hit of the party.  Follow this...

8) Do you have Chinese name fonts?

a) no, the child's name, in Chinese, is on the referral that they sent you. You can send me a copy of that referral, if you are concerned about private information that is on the form, just mark out what you need to and send a copy of the form. The better the copy, the better the finished item. I need to scan the Chinese characters, import them into the computer, convert them to a usable format and sew. If you can scan them, or fax the form, I can you that too. If you scan the item, I can convert from most "standard" formats, BMP, WMF, PSD, TIFF, JPG, GIF. If you have a question, email me    or this email address. I am using PhotoShop v6 and I can convert most any format.

9) Can you embroider my name or Amateur call sign on hats or shirts?

a) yes. If you have a club project or just one shirt, email me. I can put your name on you shirt. I volunteer to the Salvation Army EDS and they supply a nice golf shirt, mine has my call over the EDS patch. Are you on a bowling team or a school club?

10) Anything different?

a) I also put the dogs name on their collars. I have also put my name on my laptop carry case strap.
