2.0.1 THEORY OF OPERATION
COMPUTER: A tower-cased Pentium class machine running custom LabView software and containing the Motion Controller Card. The profile definition controls, mode controls, and associated status indicators are available via the virtual "FRONT PANEL" display.
SERVO UNIT: Houses the servo power amplifier/controller and in most configurations is attached to the top of the computer’s tower case. The faceplate contains status lights and a analog/digital configuration switch.
MACHINE CASE: Contains the bellows, the drive motor, remote input connections, and the required motion monitoring devices.
