More stories and comical renditions of the golden age of radio through the eyes of: YellRX (N3LRX)

Within these pages you will find stories about the golden age of radio when heavy iron and glass ruled the airwaves. When radio radiated a pleasant glow about the room and when radios were more than just an appliance. Each radio had its own warm personality.

In a time not too long ago Radio was the centerpiece of most family activates. A time when family and friends would gather around the radio to listen to the weekly episode of The Lone Ranger, Lights Out, or Fibber McGee.
Well, I know it doesn't exactly glow in the dark, but it is at least "news". I now have a K7DYY Super Senior 80/160M AM transmitter. It's a legal limit Solid State rig and the first working legal limit rig I've owned. I'm still working out the antenna issues and not sure if I can even use it in my apartment but all hope is not lost yet.

These pages are back under construction. Although I've lost the original template so I am not sure if I can keep the current theme. A completely new design may be necessary, but if I can, I'll keep it as close to as is as possible.
