I can't really remember which one, but none the less I've worn it proudly ever since. I was originally licensed in Maryland, which explains my 3 land call and I've moved around quite a bit since then. AM was the sole purpose of my upgrades to get HF privileges. If I hadn't found AM on HF I would probably still be a no-code technician.

Radio is and always will be my favourite hobby. I have enjoyed radio ever since I was a small child. AM is my favourite mode of operation. This goes back as far as I can remember. One of AM's key interests of mine is the fidelity. I don't like Donald Duck Radio! Other hobbies include music and computers. Music I have yet to master but computers, I have used for many years. I'm not a pro at everything about them but I'd like to consider myself well beyond average. I use Fedora Linux 99.9% of the time and I am the lead packager for the Fedora Amateur Radio Special Interest Group. My mail server runs CentOS. An RHEL clone.
