Welcome

Hello to everyone visiting my WWebPage..

I first received my novice ticket in 1989 and was active on 10 meters then..

In 1990 I upgraded to Technician and became active on 2 meters and packet radio which I enjoyed for several years..

In 1996 I returned to 10 meters and worked several states using a small 10 meter mobile radio at 10 watts and a vertical antenna that was designed for 10/11  meters..

In 1997 I bought my first real HF Radio, a Kenwwood TS-440S/at and started listening to the HF Bands, specifically 40 and 80 meters.. They've become my favorites.. Since then I've owned several different HF radios..

Kenwoods- TS-430s, TS-440s/at, TS-140s, TS-520s, TS-690s/at, TS-830s, TS-850s/at, TS-930s/at, TS-940s/at and my favorite Kenwood TS-950sd..

I've also owned several Yaesu and Icom radios but my radio of choice is the Kenwood radios for HF..

I use Icom radios for vhf/uhf which I like for FM work..

Right now my station consists of a Kenwood TS-450s for HF.. A Icom IC-3230H for uhf/vhf, a Icom IC-37a for 220 mHz and several HT's and scanners..

My antenna system consists of a 60 foot dipole feed with 450ohm ladder-line that I run through a MFJ-962 tuner for 40 and 80 meters.. A Comet GP-3 144/440 vertical and a small 1/4 wave vertical for 220mHz..

Well this is a little about my radio station.. Stay tuned there is probably more to come..

73's and enjoy my webpage..
