We live in Sparta, NJ N4102.1 W07434.4 at an elevation of 1290.'  Not a great height compared to a lot of places but when you put it next to the highest point in NJ at 1890 the elevation becomes respectable.  Great line of sight to the North and west.

From our location with 5w and a vertical 6db ant.  I can work into PA 442.500 and the Camelback repeater.  To the East I can work the Carmel repeater in NY 145.13. 

I am working on putting a repeater here at the house but am having trouble finding duplexers for 440.  If linked to another repeater, I think the coverage area will be fairly large.
