ARRL FIELD DAY
ARRL Field Day is an annual event and is always held on the fourth full weekend of June, beginning at 1800 UTC Saturday and running through 2059 UTC Sunday.
Amateur operators set up their gear away from commercial power and normal installations
for 24 hours during the 4th weekend in June.
Field Day is a on-the-air contest, an emergency preparedness exercise, a public relations demonstration, and is a great fun event for clubs and allows members to learn how to operate in abnormal situations in less than optimal conditions.
Lincoln Trail’s annual Field Day will be held on Saturday, June 27th 2015. at the Vine Grove Optimist Park., in Vine Grove, KY.
Set-up will start at 8:00 am. We will end at 8:00 pm. After 8:00 pm. Anyone who wants to continue opertions at this location is welcomed to so.
