| Bounty Bay is the only lading place on Pitcairn. Here arrived HMS Bounty on January the 15th 1790. The ship was burned as to remove all traces that could leed to the fact that there was life on the Island. There is no port on Pitcairn today. The landing by longboats is very difficult and dengerous. This photograph was taken from The Edge. |
