Hello, I'm Bruce Petrarca. I've been in ham radio since 1962. Starting in Denver, Colorado, I've been from coast to coast, having settled in
Phoenix, Arizona. My first amateur radio call sign was WN0DZJ in Denver, Colorado. Since then, I've had WA0DZJ in Denver; WB6KWI in Santa Barbara County, California; and both WB0OFB and WB0OFC
in Boulder, Colorado. From 1979 to 1981, I operated WB0OFC from Marlborough, Massachusetts, which caused a stir on Six Meters! In 1983, I upgraded and settled on KX0E!
My wife, Linda N7WNW, and I live in PebbleCreek, a Robson community in Goodyear, a suburb of Phoenix, Arizona.
I have a business installing and selling DCC components for Model Railroading. I teach underwater photography and videography. Check out www.ScubaPhoto
.com for my photos. Linda was Arizona's first certified One Stroke Painting instructor. She does faux finishes and wall murals. Her business is Paint YOUR Wagon.
Another site that I am working on is for the Kare Bears, a service organization here in PebbleCreek.
The music is C. Q. Boogie - I'm not certain of the author. I
selected it because I like boogie and the name is important to amateur radio.
CQ has been used with Morse Code since before the beginning of amateur radio. It is an open call, which basically says that my
station is on the air and I would like to talk to someone - usually anyone anywhere about anything. So, now my amateur radio web site is "on the air" and C. Q. Boogie seemed just the right thing!
So, join Betty Boop and cut a rug!
