Amateur radio is a fun hobby for anyone who likes electronics and to talk.  There are so many different modes of communication that there is something for everyone.  My favorite mode of communication is mobile cw.  For those who don't know what cw is, it is Morse Code.  Morse Code is like a whole knew language and a challenge to learn, but I really enjoy it and am glad I was fortunate enough to have learned it.  You can meet many friends on cw.  My best cw partner is KR4I (daddio).  Our longest qso was 8 hours.
