NorCal 49er
The Forty-9er is a 40m transceiver powered by a 9 volt battery that fits in an Altoids tin... This rig was designed by Wayne Burdick - N6KR, the PC design is by Doug Hendricks - KI6DS, and the board distribution was handled by Jim Cates - WA6GER, all of NorCal fame... This project was one of two that were used in judging the "2nd Annual Great Dayton Building Contest", sponsored by the NorCal QRP club... Details on both of these projects were in the March 96 issue of QRPp, the quarterly publication of the NorCal QRP Club... This kit unfortunately is no longer available...
