Well, All of my computers are down for the count. I don't think they'll mak eit back either. Had to cancel my cable ISP and time has erroded to no refuge. Not very good news for a ham. I did however manage to squeez a few hours in camping with Del and John (WB0QIE and KE4EAO). Didn't stay for they night, but had a lot of fun building a fire!

Although I spend a lot of time working and going to school, I still find a little time to chat during my commute to and from my places of business. Yesterday I didn't have a chnace to get on because of the massive amount of traffic on our repeater. It was connected to the ilink converence server which had several other repeaters tied into it. Each user passed the right to speak to each other allowing for very little time to break in. I have found this same experience with the IRLP. I hope kg4coq doesn't keep the ilink linked into conference server all the time. I'm sure there are enough of us out there which could easily take over the room, but I'm sure we're all refraiming from doing so because it is kinda new and we're all just giving it a chance. Maybe soon someone will put up a conference server exclusively for our repeater. This will allow multiple ilink users to jump in and local qso's could still be accomplished without disturbing any of those people not intending to talk solely to florida. We'll see I guess. Like all good things, they must first be tested and debugged.
