About Me

My QTH is Rockcastle County, Kentucky! I have lived in and around here all of my life. I received my ticket Oct. 26, 1999. I haven't upgraded at this time but, I'm studying Morse Code right now and hopefully will be on the HF bands soon. My Station consists of a Yaesu FT2600M mounted in my Ford Pickup and a Realistic HTX202 HT.

I'm currently a member of "The Rockcastle County A.R.E.S.", "The Wilderness Trail Amateur Radio Club" and "The 6 Meter Club". I'm also the Net Control for the Rockcastle County A.R.E.S. on the 146.715 Repeater (Negative Offset and a PL tone of 100.0 Hz) Friday evenings at 7:30PM. Anyone in the area at the time is encouraged to check in and participate in the net.
