Captain Henry H. Church was a polar philatelist's best friend for many, many years. He received cachets from Clay Leitch, as I recall, and I have many covers with Captain Church's auto. For this year, he apparently did not have a ship's cachet (or if so, I have not seen one) and instead, covers sent to the Maumee got the cachet of the Nuclear Power Unit, which by all accounts, was no longer at McMurdo.
Only a residual crew would have remained, so it makes this all the more interesting as a cover from a re-supply vessel.
