PUBLIC SAFETY/TERRORISM

A culmination of pictures depicting terrorism, "wars on terrorism", and related items and their "value" in protecting people.

The great buzzword of the past few years, terrorism, has been as much a part of everyone's life as they want the neighbors cat's vomit on the hood of their car. Terrorism has been a problem that the United States has headed up to take down and help everyone lead a more secure and happy life, without mass death caused by very few select individuals. Everything from the media to the lady across the street are talking about how terrorism is so horrible and how it will ruin all our lives. In the approximately fifteen minuet period between the two towers falling during 911, the entire population plus a percentage was born in that short period of time.1 Basically that entire amount of people was replaced faster than they could die. From a serious non-ethical standpoint, terrorism and mass deaths are a plus for population control, but not so great for morale. They seem to bring all the people of the community, country, and state together a little bit closer on the bandwagon of patriotism, but other than that, what else is it other than just a dip in the population for a microsecond or two? Not much if you factor out the feelings, emotions, and ethics behind the whole idea of massive terrorism.
