POLICE FORCE
A culmination of pictures depicting police officers, police actions, and related items and their "value" in protecting people.
The police force has always been the "feared" group of man ever since the days when the local sheriff and/or city monarch's thugs would run around and instill order out of the chaos. The law has always been difficult to instill upon the patrons of the cities and such. In retrospect, without these people there might be a considerable amount of chaos for the first few days, as people's fear would slowly die away and feel more free to do things they always wanted to. One must consider what a police office could do that the average citizen couldn't do if given the right tools and/or skills. Taking the law into ones own hands is not that foreign of an idea, considering many people have done it upon occasion and the police have never found out. The real question is would people be happier and live better lives overall if there wasn't the fear of the police hovering around every corner? Perhaps so, considering yet again, if a certain person doesn't something obtuse and somehow destroys themselves, all the better seeing as how that person will not be floating around the population anymore, mucking up the evolutionary pool of genetics.
