On this page, you will find information about the various activities I have engaged in as an amateur radio operator.

I was first licensed as a no-code Technician in November of 1996, when I was a freshman in high school. I upgraded to Technician-Plus the next January, and after several failed attempts, to General in 2001.

To date, I have experimented with several different kinds of "hamming", including -

FM Phone (Simplex and Repeaters) on the 10 meter, 2 meter, and 70 centimeter bands;

Packet on the 2 meter band;

Single-Sideband Phone on 10 meters; and

Satellites such as Oscar-27 (FM Phone Repeater), RS12 (Mode A Transponder), and the packet bulletin board on the (now SK) Russian Space Station Mir;
