Genny at our campsite in
the dusk, dragging a stick to make roads for Jimmy's cars and other vehicles.
By the time she was done, it was pretty dark, but the morning revealed a
veritable twisted interstate system. This was not surprising. |
|
Wendi in the tent, taking a
turn at inflating the air mattress. No small job, it always makes me
pretty dizzy. When she gets dizzy, though, she gets happy, as you
can see. Don't tell her I posted that. :) |
|
Well, she made up the
mattress, but I had to post and stow the tent. I guess that's fair. |

Wilderness Walk is a great
little place in the middle of near to nowhere, about 90 minutes Southeast
of Superior. A really nice petting zoo with everything from gerbils
and hamsters all the way up to bears and cougars (they don't let you pet
those). Here's Genny petting a calf. |
|
The light wasn't so good
for this shot, but the fawn was extremely cute, and really enjoyed licking
Genny's hands. |
|
Jimmy getting an
opportunity to meet some rabbits up close. |
|
And a baby raccoon. |
|
This peacock followed Jimmy
back and forth around the fence, ostensibly to keep him from getting
anywhere near or even from seeing his "harem". This bird
had real attitude, which was quite hilarious. |
|
This shot almost
worked. It wasn't until they were developed that we saw Jimmy's head
was turned away. What you can't see is that I've propped Johnny up
on my outstretched right hand in front of Genny, and Jimmy is literally
sitting on my head. The glories of behind-the-scenes work, eh? |
|
This would occasionally
come in handy around the house. |
|
And so would this.
But to be fair, I tried it out, too. |

Parting shot (for this
page): Genny the model, with a guest appearance from her brother,
Jimmy. |
