The Twin City Amateur Radio Club Contesters

Welcome to the web site of the Twin City Amateur Radio Club Contesters. We are based in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, and are affiliated with the Twin City Amateur Radio Club. We are interested in pursuing the art of radio sports, training hams new to contesting, and generally getting on the air and having a good time.

We are always interested in hearing from hams in the Champaign-Urbana area that would like to pursure contesting. We enter many contests with the express purpose of giving inexperienced contesters a chance to get their feet wet in a friendly atmosphere with instruction, operating tips and guidance.

What's New (updated 18 Feb, 2007)

AREA 51 DELTA WENT QRT

The K9CU club station location went QRT in June of 2003. The beams were removed from the tower and all equipment was removed. Many thanks to Bill Cochran, W9JPN, who made it possible for us to have the site for the time we were there. We do not have a new club site at this time, but have several leads.
