Antenna Projects.
Here is some pictures of my latest
antenna projects. Both of them are loops. One is for 6 meters and
the other is for 2m. I have plans later on down the line for building
more and stacking them, if I have room in the attic, where they currently
are installed at!
6 Meter Loop is constructed out
of 3/8" soft copper tubing, 1/2 copper piping and an old CB mirror
mount. After building this antenna I realized I needed some support
so I added a few fiber glass rods for some much needed support.
With 2 meter design, I used a little bit different
route, this one was made out of 1/4" thick by 1" aluminun,
that can be found at any hardware store. As you can see I used some
3/8" soft copper tubing for the gamma match and made a mounting
bracket for the SO-239. Main concern I had with the mount was the coax
being used is 9913 and since its not best to bend I used a 90 degree
elbow. Finally the mast is made out of 1" schedule 40 PVC.
