Barbados
On my third trip to the Caribbean I stayed two weeks in Barbados and two Weeks in St. Lucia. In Barbados I had the opportunity to visit some Bajan Hams of the ARSB at their club house located at Oxnards Mill, St. James overlooking the West Coast of the Island. From the terrace one can see from Bridgetown in the south to the North Point of the Island.
St. Lucia
On my second week in St. Lucia, I decided one afternoon to go for a walk, as a change to the sunbathing at the beach. To reach Pigeon Island, which is connected with the main island, I had to walk around Rodney Bay. On my way back to the hotel I noticed a beam. Off course I wanted to see this antenna closer. Luckily the owner of the antenna Joe J6LJ was home he when I passed at his place.
Florida, U.S.A.
This was my first visit to the America. At the English Language School located on the ground of the Eckerd College in St. Petersburg I tried to improve my english. Four weeks I attended an english class. After school I was traveling two weeks through Florida.
Only a few minutes away by car were Bruce WT4T and Bernhard KB4QXV living. With Bernie I visited a ham flea market in Sarasota. Another very interesting event was a lecture organised by the Clearwater Amateur Radio Club. A teacher was talking about his work at the Junior High School 22 in New York. He introduces the kids to Amateur Radio. You might know the call WB2JKJ.
Grenada
After my time in Florida I went to the Caribbean. The island hopping brought me from Jamaica to Trinidad, Tobago, Curaçao, Grenada and Barbados. My hotel was near the Grand Anse Beach at the bottom of a hill. To get a good picture from St. George's, the capital of Grenada, I walked up that hill on a narrow road. Half way up, I had a nice view over the Grand Anse Beach and St. George's. When I was ready to take the picture, a car stopped and a lady asked me what I was doing here. I told her why I came up the hill, she invited me to take a ride up to her house, from there the view is much better. What a surprise when we reached at her house, a fantastic view and ham antennas. Don J37AH is the owner of the antennas and husband of the nice lady.
Barbados
This time I stayed in a hotel at St. Lawrence, Christ Church. On my third day in Barbados, I went for a walk. When I noticed a car with a ham sticker on the rear window. I put a note with my name, call and hotel where I stayed under the windshield wiper. A short time later Woody 8P6CC passed by at the hotel and invited me to his home. He showed me his shack and demonstrated his radio with a QSO to Jamaica and New York.
Dixieland Tour U.S.A.
It was the third time I visited the U.S.A. with my XYL since our honeymoon. I will keep the story short and mention only the highlights of our tour.
All the days in Dallas we spent with our friends Frank KR1ZAN and Nancy KC5VBR, Sue AB5ZS and John AB5ZR. It was a pleasure beeing together with this nice people. It was more than only ham spirit we could experience. My XYL Ena and I will never forget the time we had in Dallas.
Trinidad
Since I'm married to a Trinidadian, I'm visiting this island more often than before. Not too far away from my sister-in-law place, where we usualy stay, lives Noel 9Y4NED

Pictures will be added.
