Some information about the club
Business meeting are held in the odd numbered months. The meetings in the even numbered months are purely social. There may be a program or we may just talk Ham Radio.
All meetings are held at the Pleasant Hill Volunteer Fire Company (PHVFC) on the first Thursday of each month. We start at 7:30 pm. The meetings seldom last more than an hour but the rag-chewing might. MAP
Membership is open to all licensed Hams.
Dues are $20 per year or $25 for families
Applications are available from the Treasurer. You can also download a copy.
Members use the club mailing list to to keep up to date on club activities.
To subscribe to this list, send an e-mail to the Postmaster. Nothing is required in the body of the e-mail. It will help us weed out spammers if you include your call sign or the reason for your interest. You will hear back from him when your subscription has been activated.

We use the excellent N3KZS repeater system. The frequency is 146.895 MHz.
PL on the repeater transmitters (your receiver) is 107.2 Hz. It is always on. PL on the repeater receivers (your transmitter) is 107.2 Hz. It is usually off but can be turned on if needed
If IRLP is on, you will hear a cw "L" (.-..) with the courtesy beep. Code "*73" turns IRLP off.

We do conduct license preparation classes.
We do have members that will work with you in preparing for the test. Contact any club officer.
