I applied for an Australian callsign and now I hold VK4ADF during my staying.
I'm planning to be as active as possible, but unfortunately my apartment on the 19th floor does not allow me to erect any usable antenna. I was able to put up a half wave dipole for 20m very close to the wall so I have opportunity to receive only.

I was active in the WPX CW leg. This was the first time on the air from Australia. Big thanks to Alan, VK4WR for let me use his great station. It's not easy to operate from this part of the world so my high respect goes to the long-suffering operators here. The interesting is that there are plenty of huge signals from EU and NA but no one turns his antenna towards down under. I've spent more or less the whole European sunrise on the bands it was fun and good experience. There are couple of photos in the pictures section.

You can find here my log and some details about the operation. I've recorded the whole 5 hours so if you are interested about your signal or some comparison purpose to other stations just drop me a line.
