PLESSEY VHF UHF 8000 SERIES TX-RX SYSTEM

VHF - UHF military synthesised communications system (plus repeater option box).

There are three transceivers of approximately 20 watts output.

Low Band synthesised transmitter-receiver on two ATC frequencies 78 MHz

High Band synthesised transmitter-receiver on three ATC frequencies 149 MHz

Both working with control boxes, leads and microphones.

One UHF identical set with lead and control box and one repeater interface box that allows two transceivers of any band to repeat through each other.

All bought at military auction by Gary Austin G6NYH and sold to the museum at the recent Northampton Radio Rally in July 2008.
