The Harlow And District Amateur Radio Society (HADARS) is a well established club
operating under the call sign of the late Tom St. Johnstone (G6UT), with a
related class B (G6BUT) license also held . We are members of the Radio Society of Great Britain. The formal
objectives of the club are to foster, in a spirit of
comradeship, all branches of radio, electronics and amateur radio activities. |

The club is fortunate to have a permanent base at Mark Hall Barn, a
grade II listed building. We have an impressive, extendable tower at the back of our club
house. HF, 6M, 2M, 70cms, and 23cms are catered for. A range of transceiver and test
equipment is owned by the club and available to its members. We are a
radio club that really does radio - why not join us? |

In recent years we have provided training for Full, Intermediary and
Foundation licences as well as arranging morse code practice and specific
technical demonstrations. As a result we have maintained a continuous
flow of new members into the club - why not join us? |
|
|
We are active in many contests and run a number of relaxed special
event stations through the year. Although we are no longer able to
hold our own rally we have regular stalls at local rallies to raise
funds for our activities. Whether you regard your hobby as serious
or just want to have fun, we have something that you will enjoy taking
part in - why not join us? |
