A little bit about me:-

NFD 1995, G4BP

Callsign GØVFV, name Bob Marley (no resemblance to the late pop star of the same name).

I took up amateur radio as a serious hobby in 1991 and am usually to be found on CW.

Main rig is a Yaesu FT1000MP and antennae are beam and G5RV. There's also a computer running Turbolog and SuperDuper, but most of the computing is left to the XYL, Jools.

Station is about 5 miles NE of Scarborough, ¾ mile from the sea and some 120 feet asl with open aspect. Locator IO94SI, WAB TAØ9.

I'm also the RSGB's QSL sub-bureau manager for the G4V series of callsigns.

DID YOU KNOW - If you go here you will find a useful facility for email.  Send all your email using the address yourcallsign@amsat.org and it will automatically route it to your Compuserve address or wherever you tell it - especially useful if you change your ISP and don't want to change your email address!!

Any comments you may have or things you would like to see on the site - let me know - I'll do my best.
