contest pits ham radio operators and radio contest clubs/organizations around the world in
a bid to have the most number of actual radio contacts made in a 48-hour period. CQ
Magazine, a ham radio magazine based in New York, has been conducting the contest for more
than 25 years.
Mabuhay DX Group has sent a delegation from the US headed by one of the
MDXG founders Joel L. Pastor WJ1P. PDXF trustee Serafin A.
Nepomuceno DU1SAN and several fellow hams will be joining them for the event.

Group using call sign K6MDX placed in the Top 10 in California in the single
