2002 WEST COAST JAMBOREE A SUCCESS!
The first Pinoy Ham West Coast Jamboree was held Last May 7,8 and 9, 2002 at the Buena Vista Camp Grounds in Bakersfield California.
The Pinoy Hams West Coast Jamboree was a success in terms of the number of participating clubs from southern and northern California and plus visitors from as far as Bacolod City Philippines, New Jersey, Michigan and Edmonton Canada.
The all club all members meeting was hosted by N6WJN/Ramir of the Spider ARC. Every club representative was given a time to speak and inform other clubs about their activities.
As always, good time spent with old and new found friends. The Camaraderie between Hams and the food we shared is something we will all remember.
Special thanks goes to Jun Sison/W6EMS of the C.N.A.RN. for initiating the jamboree and to our dear friend Ben/K6GYY of HARP, USA for putting the extra effort to inform everyone about the event. Thank you guys! You and all the clubs made this all possible!
