1. Why do we need to have a Pinoy Ham West Coast Jamboree?

2. Is this going to replace the International Grand Eyeball Qso?

3. Who initiated  the West Coast Jamboree?

4. Will this be an annual event?

5. Who will sponsor the 2003 West Coast Jamboree?

6.  How many clubs are there in the West Coast area?

1. >> The Pinoy Ham population is more concentrated in the West Coast area.  Having an annual activity would generate more interest in the hobby and provide a means to see others hams in the area.

2.>> No. The West Coast Jamboree will only be done in the South and Northern California area. The clubs will still support the Grand Eyeball Qso.

3>> Although according to some sources the West Coast Jamboree has been planned a long time ago, this years First West Coast Jamboree was initiated by non other than Jun Sison/W6EMS of the C.N.A.R.N. Without his initiative, all the great time we spent on the camping would not have been possible.  Another person whom we would like to thank is Ben/K6GYY for taking the extra time to invite and inform other clubs about the event.

4>> The West Coast Jamboree will be an annual event.  The only time that there won't be any event would be if  the Grand Eyeball Qso will be celebrated in the State of California.

5.>> The 2003 Pinoy Hams West Coast Jamboree sponsorship is still up for grabs. There will be a meeting in the near future to know who among the clubs are interested.

6.   >> There are approximately 10 clubs.
