Amateur Radio is a communications service consisting of operators licensed and regulated in the Federal Republic of Germany by the Federal Network Agency (Bundesnetzagentur).
Amateur radio operators, by regulation engage in emergency and other public service communications, maintain technical skills, and foster international good will via communications.

My personal interest in amateur radio focuses on communicating over long-distances via shortwave ranging from 1,8 Mcs to 29 Mcs. Either homemade or commercial antenna systems and appropiate transmitters and receivers are used to get in touch with other amateur radio stations. Using a personal computer and connecting to an internet DX-Cluster assists much to spot a wanted contact to a far-distance amateur radio station at the other side of the globe.

So have a look at my homepage and enjoy part of the fascinating hobby of amateur radio.

The homepages are subject to revision and will be updated whenever I discover something more useful or more interesting. They may contain typos, misspellings, and a few grammatical infecilities...
