Contesting philosophy
My station and antenna setup at home has never been really competitive for a serious entry in one of the major Contests.
A large part of my activity in the past years has been as a guest OP at well equipped stations. At this point I want to thank everybody who gave me the chance to use their station - especially Heiko DK3DM and Uli DL8OBQ the owners of
Radio Taubeneiche who count on me as an operator and also Toffy DJ6ZM who has a fantastic station near Munich.
Generally I like operating in a team and most of the entries are Multi-OP scores using various different callsigns over the years.
But I also try to bring my own call on the air as much as possible - usually from my home QTH in smaller regional HF or VHF/UHF Contests or just to give out some points.
