Central Florida Cypress Chapter

Program to officially begin June 01,2001

All contacts must be made after this date to count

New members: Base point 5 points + any appropriate bonus points.

Existing Cypress members: Base point assignment will be 10 points + any appropriate bonus points.

Local Members: Base point assignment will be 20 points + any appropriate bonus points.

CH/CM: Base point assignment will be 40 points + any appropriate bonus points.

All current Cypress Chapter members are automatically eligible to participate in this program.

Non-Cypress Chapter members must first meet the basic Cypress Chapter membership requirements, and obtain a Basic Cypress Number.

You must be a member of Ten-Ten International Net, Inc..

ALL members will be allowed to upgrade monthly only! Any date, but only once every 30 days.

Upgrades will be handled on-line, via email or snail mail with S.A.S.E.

Points are collected at the rate of 1 for every 100 until the first seal is earned.

Collect initial points from other chapter members, and difference of points from them thereafter. Seal level that you hold determines the division factor that will be applied when calculating your earned points, and the seal types you can collect.

Seal #1 [Jacksonville] - earned when point level reaches 100 points

Division ratio - 1 point for every 200 collected

Seal #2 [Tampa] - earned when point level reaches 250 points

Division ratio - 1 point for every 300 collected

Seal #3 [Orlando] - earned when point level reaches 500 points

Division ratio - 1 point for every 400 collected

Seal #4 [Miami] - earned when point level reaches 750 points

Division ratio - 1 point for every 500 collected

Seal #5 [Key West] - earned when point level reaches 1000 points

Division ratio - 1 point for every 600 collected

Seal #6 [Tallahassee] - earned when point level reaches 2000 points

Division ratio - 1 point for every 700 collected

Collect points from monthly specials to be added directly to your score.

Collect seals from other members for points to be added directly to your score.

Seal #1 [Jacksonville] - Collectible at 1 point each

Seal #3 [Orlando] - Collectible at 2 points each

Seal #4 [Miami] - Collectible at 5 points each

Must hold Seal #4 to collect

Seal #5 [Key West] - Collectible at 10 points each

Maximum number that may be collected - No limit

Must hold Seal #5 to collect

Seal #6 [Tallahassee] - Collectible at 20 points each

Maximum number that may be collected - No limit

Must hold Seal #6 to collect

WOH seal - Collectible at 20 points each

Maximum number that may be collected - No limit

FV Seal - Collectible at 10 points each

Maximum number that may be collected - No limit

10-10 dues - All members showing proof of renewed ten-ten membership will receive 5 points per year. All members showing proof of life membership, will receive a one time bonus of 50 points.

Net check-ins - All members appearing in the net log will receive 2 points per check in.

Contest Score Assignment - Assign a 10-10 contest score to the Cypress Chapter and receive 50 bonus points.

Cypress Visitor - Visit either CH, CM or any local member and receive a one time bonus of 50 points, as well as a FV Seal. Seals will be collectible at 10 points each.

Monthly Specials - Randomly selected callsigns will receive 10 points (one time only) and everyone they work receives 10 points (one time only).

a) Initial Legal Contacts - In order for a contact to be considered a legal contact, the following data MUST be exchanged over the air: Name, Callsign, QTH, 10-10 number, Cypress Cities Number and point value.
b) Contacts must be made operator to operator. No part of the exchange may take place via third party.
c) Contacts made during nets may be used provided the full exchange takes place between the stations over the net.
d) Parking lot net contacts may not be used, however contacts made while traveling to and from events will be allowed.
e) The use of Rosters and Chapter lists is prohibited.
f) Personal lists may be exchanged ONLY AFTER the initial contact has taken place.
g) FS, FC, FP designations will be used on all seals. Mail postmark or email/website date and time will be used to determine the recipient in the event multiple upgrades are received.
h.) CM reserves the right to change the points structure at any time during the program.

Seal #5 - Wall of Honor (WOH photograph post only)
Recipients of this award are the chapter top scorers (determined by current point value) for the "Key West" and "Tallahassee" Seals.

Operators may only receive this honor one time per given 3 month period.

Recipients of this award have their photograph posted on the chapter website "Wall of Honor". Either a scanned image or photograph is required for this award. CM will return photographs after scanning if S.A.S.E. is provided.

Once the "Tallahassee" seal is reached, you will no longer be eligible to appear on the Seal #5 Wall of Honor, but may still reach the Wall of Honor Seal.

Wall of Honor Seal - Those operators reaching Seal #6, and being one of the top 10 operators will receive this honor.

You will join the other top operators in a permanent place on our Wall of Honor. Space will be provided for you to list several of your accomplishments or a brief message to other chapter members.

Either a scanned image or photograph is required for this award. CM will return photographs after scanning if S.A.S.E. is provided.

WOH seal recipients also receive a 50 point one time bonus.

IQ status -

Members holding First day seals are automatically Cypress Chapter IQ's.

Member reaches IQ status in the chapter when seal level reaches 5 and higher.

IQ status will be signified by an IQ appended to their Cypress Cities basic number.
