The Big Island of Hawaii is my favorite place in the state of Hawaii, if not the entire world. Active volcanoes, Hawaiian mythology, ancient anthropological sites, the highest mountains in the entire Pacific rim, rainforests, waterfalls, a landmass larger than all of the other Hawaiian islands combined -- the Big Island has something for everyone.
