How To Install the Ring Navigation Bar
Visitors to a Ring are guided from site to site by the server-side navigation bar (SSNB). The navigation bar must appear on the site registered with Y! WebRing for the web site to remain active in the Ring.
The system will periodically check the entire Ring to make sure the SSNB appears on the registered pages. If the SSNB does not appear on a page, the site will be suspended until the SSNB is added.
Installing the SSNB is easy.
Login with your Y! ID and Password at Y!WebRing. Locate and click the My Rings link.
Use the Get Nav Bar link on the My Rings page.
Copy the code in the text box at the bottom of the page and paste it into the web page you registered with the system.
You only need to cut and paste the code once, even if you join multiple Rings. One code fragment will serve the navigation bars for all the Rings you belong to that are registered with your Y! ID.
If the SSNB does not appear, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
You do not have JavaScript turned on in your browser. Consult your brower's help section for directions on enabling JavaScript.
Your site has been suspended by the RingMaster or the Y! WebRing system. Contact the RingMaster to check your status.
The RingMaster has deleted your site from the Ring. Contact the RingMaster to check your status.
The RingMaster has not approved your site yet. Contact the RingMaster to check your status.
To contact the RingMaster, use the link on the left side of the Ring Hub page to view the RingMaster's Public Profile. The profile should list the RingMaster's email address.
Or you can always check back to Leyte-Samar WebRing Home Page and use the e-mail form provided herein.
