Dear fellow hams,

After 13 years of providing hams with no cost web space, e-mail forwarding and mailing list services through QSL.net and QTH.net, I have decided to retire. All QSL.net and QTH.net servers and Internet connections at my home QTH are being turned down.

Scott KA9FOX has graciously decided to pick up where I left off, and he is in the process of migrating all services to new hardware. See below for an update on the status of the migration.

I want to thank all of you for all of your support over the years, and I hope that you will support Scott as he takes over the reigns.

Server Migration Update from Scott KA9FOX <[email protected]>

Thank you for your patience as this transition is made. All qsl.net/qth.net services are being moved onto brand new hardware in a well-connected data center in the central US. This web page will be updated so you can stay informed of the progress.

SERVICE	SERVER	STATUS
Web Sites	www.qsl.net (ftp.qsl.net)	All web site data has been moved, and as of Jan 8 18:20z, FTP access should now be working!
Mailing Lists	mailman.qth.net	Took old server down Jan 5 around 05:30z, migrated data, and brought up new server around 08:15z. Let me know if you are seeing any problems. UPDATE: On Jan 6, some Mailman services were down and we did not catch it until many hours later someone took time to let us know about non-delivery. The problem was fixed, and now all the mail is caught up. No mail was lost, but mail was delayed on Jan 6. Any questions, use the e-mail link above to contact me.
E-mail Forwarding	mail.qsl.net	Successfully converted to new mail forwarding server on Jan 2 around 07:45z. AOL was blocking mail from us, but that block seems to have stopped as of Jan 6 19:00z. We are not aware of any ISPs blocking mail from us at this point.
DX Info/Log Search	dx.qsl.net	Successfully converted to the new server on Jan 4 around 21:00z. No downtime occurred. Let me or N6RT know if you see any problems.
