Collection of old amateur radio equipment

I have always loved older amateur radio equipment, some of them I remember from my youth when I first started getting interested in amateur radio, others are interesting technically and some are just beautiful!

When I come across a piece of older equipment in a good condition, and at a decent price, I add it to my slowly growing collection. Below you can find a few notes on the equipment I have in the "museum", this page is still "Work in Progress", I will add information and photos as time allows.

I am still looking for the following radios:

Kenwood TS-950SDX
Icom IC-775DSP
Icom IC-781
Yaesu FT-1000MP (Original or D model) (Found one, 8/2023!)

Recent additions include a Kenwood TS-930, Yaesu FT-1000D as well as the IC-756, IC-756 ProII and IC-756 ProIII that has now been moved to the "Museum" section of the page. I will add more details on these radios when I get time.

Yaesu FT-102
I managed to add a new radio to my collection today! I finally found a pristine Yaesu FT-102! The radio seems to be in a great condition and was recently serviced. All the relays were replaced with Omron sealed units and the driver and final tubes also seem to be new. I am still looking for the optional AM/FM board for this radio. It has a reputation of producing really great sounding AM audio, perfect for the odd occasion when I want to join the local Antique Wireless Association's AM net.

The receiver really sounds great and the specifications shows that even though it is a 1984 vintage radio the receiver is still better than most modern radios, well done Yaesu for producing such a classic, these days it has an almost cult following.....

Here she is with a few internal photos as well.

Final compartment, 3 x 6146's

I will run this radio on the workbench for a while, to get to know it and also to make sure all is well. After that it will go to my radio museum where it will only be used occasionally for a bit of nostalgia or an AM net.

Yaesu FT-726R

This classic VHF/UHF satellite radio is equipped with 3m, 70cm and satellite modules. If I can find one I would love to add a 50MHz module.
