144MHz SKEDS AND EXPEDITIONS


Eastern Cape amateurs regularly monitor 144.400MHz FM listening for openings between Port Elizabeth and East London, as well as further afield up to Division 5. Recent openings have seen ZS2CLI, ZR2NB and ZS2AH heard in Port Elizabeth, with regular stations ZS2BL, ZS2U, ZS2ABU, ZS2FM and ZR2DX listening for signals in Port Elizabeth.
Dave ZS5DJ has reported hearing ZS2BL on FM, and will look for SSB contacts into Port Elizabeth.
