KAREEDOUW REPEATER

 

Not yet part of the Coastal Repeater network, this site only has a UHF in-out configuration linking Lady's Slipper to Knysna.  The 145.725 repeater is in a different enclosure, but plans are afoot to incorporate this repeater into the network.  At present there is a fair gap in coverage between Plett and Humansdorp on the N2, which this repeater fills nicely.

The repeater is co-located with the Sentech transmitter tower, at an elevation of 758m.
