COCKSCOMB REPEATER
A stand-alone repeater at present. Solar powered, and only reachable by Helicopter or hiking, it has been in service since the early 80's, and was last visited in 1994!
Plans are to make it linkable to 438.700 at Lady's Slipper or 438.650 at PE Town UHF repeater.
Location is at Tierhoekberg, elevation 1408m. The Cockscomb mountain itself is to the West. Coverage extends far inland to Graaf Reinet, Steytlerville, Willowmore, and to the Coast towards Plettenberg bay.
