Frequency (MHz) Service Area Location Comments
Note: These repeaters may possibly be subject to frequency changes in the future to avoid
interference from low-powered, license free devices (LIPDs) that now operate in the band
433.050 to 434.790 MHz throughout New Zealand. These are devices like Hiab (truck mounted) crane
controllers, concrete pumps, car alarm pagers, and are allowed to operate within this band
using transmitter power up to 25mW EIRP. Such changes may involve "inverting" the TX/RX pairs
of the repeater, or the allocation of a frequency pair away from the LIPD band.
Note: Repeaters with an output frequency of between 438.000 and 440.000 MHz use a minus (-) 5.000 MHz receive offset, while all repeaters with an output of between 433.000 and 435.000 MHz use a plus (+) 5.000 MHz receive offset.
