tribute to ZL2AGX as he presented the WAR0 Banner at the Official opening. Orchids and WAR0`daisy' emblems suddenly appeared for the Organising Committee to wear.

Then an invitation from me to WAR0 Exec members to host tables for the Saturday night dinner at the Novotel Tainui Hotel was willingly accepted and I know many took their cameras along to help with our commemorative photograph album. Fundraising by a number of clubs over the past two years helped considerably. Papakura Radio Club came in after YL2000 with hosting YLs/OMs off to Norfolk Island for the YL Mini DXpedition. Both home hosting by their President en route to Papakura and the presence of the Acting Mayor of Papakura provided an added bonus. So what more can I say - except Thank You, You all did well and I was proud of you, BINY OWEN ZL2AZY

Message to Biny from Eine SM0OQW and Lars SM5CAI
We have now been on Gotland Island for over two weeks making our summer house ready for winter when it could be minus l0-l5 degrees C and we can't leave water in the water mains. It is very still here, no people, only some rabbits and rain and darkness Our dog loves to be here and hunt rabbits, but they are too fast for her and there are holes everywhere for them to hide in. I love to walk with my dog and see her happy. In Stockholm she has to be very well behaved. I am very happy to have been sponsored into NZ WARO. After the YL Meet in NZ I really want to keep some contacts with New Zealand. We are going back to Stockholm this week and I must start my English course again. Raija is now back in Finland meeting her relations, they have a family gathering. I have a contact with Maija and Teuvo on 80 metres in Finland every morning. Lars got a Swedish tableflag (standar) from SSA (Swedish Amateur Radio Society) to give to WARO but I am sorry to say that he forgot and left the flag behind Lars will send it to you when we get back to Stockholm.
