WSQCall V1.20 Release Package
=============================

24/03/2018

Unzip this archive into a clean folder on your computer. NOT on the desktop, and NOT
under \Windows. I recommend C:\Radio\WSQCall.

The process of unzipping places all the files contained to the correct places, including
the Help sub-folder. The archive also includes the WSQplot program, which needs to be
set up separately. It has it's own Help file, WSQplotHelp.htm.

Read this and the \Help\WSQhelp.htm file, which tell you how to set up the programs. Set
up WSQCall first.

Once you have the program running, use the Help menu to assiduously read all the Help
files. They are also individually available in the \Help folder.

Please report anything you don't understand or doesn't seem to work properly.

There is no image or file send capability in WSQCall, as the 50 Hz bandwidth is insufficient
for practical image or file transfers.

What's new in V1.20:

	* Synchronous Decoder with Cross-Correlation Sync discovery used for main RX pane and commands
	* Conventional 'peak-hits' decoder used only for real-time display in Monitor
	* Cumulative or Successive peaks options for 'peak-hits' decoder
	* Improvements to receiver FFT detector, more sensitivity and immunity to static
	* Menu access to Heard Log, Message Log and Locator Log
	* RX-Only provision for multi-operator emergency comms and for dual-instance tests
	* Improvements to provide more robust call sign recognition logic
	* Three operating speeds, 1, 0.5 (default) and 0.25 baud (10, 5 and 2.5 WPM)
	* Optional graphics overlays, showing linear spectrum, log spectrum or oscilloscope
	* S-Meter measurement and reporting, S-Meter pop-up display
	* Input signal gain control, used to calibrate the S-meter
