Here's the result of the past few day's work:  a rat's nest of cabling.  This is the circuit breaker panel, now that I've pulled all the cable for each of the branch circuits.  This little vacation cottage has 24 circuits in it, of which 6 are double-pole.  There's nearly a half mile of cable going into wiring this house.  Of course, there are 240V amplifier outlets in the living room, etc., etc.  What amazes me is that I spent weeks and weeks last summer learning the nuances of NEC (National Electrical Code) and planning the wiring in this house.  Now, it's taking only a matter of days to execute that plan.  I fully expect to have all the cable installed within the next 4 or 5 days.

One thing that does keep occuring to me is how nice it would be if my home in CA were wired the way this one is wired.   Then we could actually make toast and coffee at the same time, without pulling a circuit breaker!  Anyway, after I finish wiring all the branch circuits, I have to have the wiring inspected by the Building Department on Cayman Brac.  I'm told they will enforce every little nit in the code, so I have my fingers crossed.
