It is a NEC2 version compiled for Linux ELF with some enhancements together with a graphic post-processor based on Yorick.
NEC2 is compiled with the capability of handling 3000 segments. (MiniNEC can handle only 100).
For instance the post-processor can display in X-windows the plots of the computed radiation patterns or the gain versus frequency.
The post-processor produces PostScript files of the plots that later
can be
printed or converted in other formats.
It can do much more: read the attached DOC to know all the capabilities.
What's new ?
Current version is the 1.4 ; The new version, dated 30th dec. 2007, has been recompiled with f77 available on Debian 4.0 R1 and with math. coprocessor. ...and now it is distributed under the GPL GNU licence !!
