Will run in a DOS box from Windows. Just type in the frequency you want in Hz (up to 0.01Hz resolution). Frequency will be rounded to the nearest 32-bit exact value. This is an older program - use RUBY4.EXE for preference. RUBY4.EXE DOS program for Frequency Control only. Will run in a DOS box from Windows. This version includes the ability to handle direct HEX entry and has improved user interface. RUBYP2.EXE DOS program for Frequency Control and beacon script transmission. Uses .SCP script files, which you can make yourself. RUBY.SET Parameter file. Tells the programs above which COM port to use, the default frequency to use, and the calitration value (in HEX) used for that frequency. All the other requested frequencies are calculated from these values. (You can find out the two frequency values by sending the 'S' command to the unit from a terminal program). Readme.txt This file To install the programs, open the archive with an unzipping tool, and save the files in a directory on your system (for example, C:\Program Files\Ruby). Then run the executables and read the help information to find out what to do. The RUBY4.htm help file should also be helpful.
